Release Information

What's New in Stat 5.4.2

The latest release of Stat includes some important new capabilities designed to enhance the user experience, increase migration controls, and improve workflow flexibility.

New Capabilities

Description

Improved migration management controls

Stat includes new migration capabilities that improve the flexibility and security of the migration process.

  • Support for specifying user-defined parameters in post-migration steps to give more options on what kinds of actions can be performed.
  • Support for the use the SSH protocol in script execution to enhance the security of post migration steps.

Enhanced user experience and workflow

Stat has made a variety of improvements to the user interface and experience for users of both the windows client and the Web interface – improving access to important information and productivity.

  • View the workflow history of a change request directly in the CSR so that a report does not have to be run in order to see that information.
  • View the history tab & detail logs of a CSR from the Web interface
  • Access pre-defined reports directly from the Web interface.
  • Faster object archiving as well as more expansive archive set comparison operations that provide more information at the environment level.
  • Perform approvals via email rather than directly through the Stat client.
  • The object compare wizard can now be run for multiple objects at a time.

Expanded platform support

Every release of Stat updates support for key platforms and internal components.  However, Stat 5.4 also adds some new capabilities specifically for Oracle E-Business Suite release 12 (R12).

  • Expanded support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12, namely Forms Personalization and XML Publisher object types.
  • HTTPS support for Web-interface

Setup object type supportThe Stat-supported Oracle Apps Setup object types allow for archiving and migrating data stored in Oracle Applications tables and views.
