Host Monitoring 

Integrates with Spotlight on Unix and Spotlight on Windows to monitor the physical server that runs Sybase ASE. Spotlight on Sybase ASE drilldowns can launch Spotlight on Unix or Spotlight on Windows, as needed.

Improved Wait Event Monitoring 

You can now view wait events by user.

Improved SQL Text and Stored Procedure Monitoring 

Spotlight on Sybase now allows you to view the contents of any stored procedure that is executed.

Internationalization

Spotlight on Sybase now supports Sybase ASE on all Unicode-based character sets.

• 50 MB hard disk space
• 128 MB RAM minimum (256 MB recommended)
• Monitor with minimum 800x600 resolution

Server

• All operating systems supported by Sybase
• Sybase ASE versions 11.9.2, 12.0.x, and 12.5.x and 15.0
• Sybase monitoring tables must be installed on ASE v12.5.0.3 and higher

SQL History Per User

Problem users can now be displayed in a tree view in the User Activity drilldown for more insight into specific user activity.

Expanded SQL History

SQL text and SQL performance can be viewed in the SQL History area of User activity for a better understanding of performance bottlenecks from a historical standpoint.

Integration with SQL Tuning

Spotlight on Sybase ASE is integrated with Quest Central for Sybase SQL Tuning so that when SQL performance issues are diagnosed, they can be sent to the SQL Tuning component of Quest Central for Sybase for immediate resolution through SQL optimization.
