For example, 70% CPU might be critical for you while 95% is the critical threshold for another customer. The Cisco Traps Instrumentation Pack converts all Traps from all Cisco devices to alerts using a single database (either Access or SQL) created by Quest specifically for the Cisco device types you are monitoring. This allows you to quickly react to the event notification/alerts that Cisco built in to its products.
