Paul Garver - Vice President Public Sector

Paul GarverPaul Garver is responsible for Quest Software's public sector division, covering the U.S. federal government, state and local governments, and higher education in all 50 states. In this role, he also oversees business and channel development, product and marketing functions, and systems consulting. Prior to joining Quest, Garver held a number of positions in sales and marketing focused on the government marketplace, with companies including Information Builders, Attachmate Corporation and IBM. Garver is an active member of a number of industry and government professional IT associations including GITEC, USO, AFCEA and ITAA. Garver was named one of Federal Computer Week's Federal 100 in 2005 and is also the recipient of IPIC's 2001, 2002 and 2005 President's Award for Superior Support and Contribution. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Maryland.

Dave Baldwin - Director of Sales, Database Solutions

Dave Baldwin is Director of Sales for Database Solutions and has been with Quest for 7 years, covering the U.S. federal government, state and local governments, and higher education in all 50 states.  In this role, he also oversees business and channel development, product functions, and works as a liaison between commercial and government accounts. Prior to joining Quest, Baldwin held a number of positions in sales and sales management focusing in the government and the commercial marketplace. Baldwin is an active member of a number of industry and government professional IT associations including AFCEA and ITAA. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Paul Christman - Director of Sales, State & Local government and Higher Education

As Quest Software’s director of state and local government and higher education sales, Paul Christman oversees sales teams that create and maintain strategic relationship with state and local government as well as public and private higher education institutions worldwide. Christman, who has been in the software industry for more than 20 years, previously worked as national sales manager and business development manager for state and local government and public education customers at VERITAS Software Corp. During his tenure at VERITAS, public sector sales grew more than 300 percent and its staff more than doubled. Prior to joining VERITAS, Christman was district manager for Metiom, an electronic procurement software company. He has also held various sales and sales management positions with Microsoft and Lotus. Christman earned a B.A. with honors from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY.

Jeff Stratyner - Business Development Manager

With over 10 years of experience in various capacities - across database administration, education, product management, sales consulting, and channel management – Jeff Stratyner currently advocates and champions Quest Software’s solutions for the Public Sector focusing on Identity Management and HSPD-12 initiatives. With his previous background - as Senior Instructor for Database Administration and Tuning - at Oracle Corporation, Stratyner joined Quest Software in mid 1999 as Product Manager for Oracle management solutions. Since then, he has held various positions as Senior Systems Consultant for Quest’s Monitoring solutions and most recently as Manager for all Systems Integrator Solutions.
Stratyner regular presents topics on industry initiatives and best practices at Oracle Users Group meeting as well as at various industry conferences and most recently at NYC DOITT Conference on “Integrating Overlapping Identity Stores” and Microsoft’s Security Summit East on “Provisioning two factor access for corporate VPN’s”. He holds a Masters Degree from Louisiana State University and a Bachelors Degree from Albany State University in English Literature.
