Quest® SQL Optimizer for Oracle offers a fully automated approach to maximizing SQL performance. It eliminates the manual, time-intensive process of ensuring that SQL code is performing as fast as possible. In a pre-production environment, Quest SQL Optimizer scans database objects and source code files to identify problematic SQL. It then initiates optimization by providing replacement code, including optimized SQL statements, which can quickly be placed into the code base to immediately improve SQL performance. In production, the scope of performance optimization can be expanded to include automated index generation and impact analysis, which determines how changes in index creation, database parameter settings, database version upgrades, and anticipated object growth will impact performance. |
